Dr. Gabriele Manetti is a specialist in General Surgery in Rome, with extensive experience in digestive, oncological and emergency surgery, and a particular focus on minimally invasive surgery of the abdominal wall.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome with full marks and honours, and completed his specialisation in General Surgery at the same university with full marks and honours. His training included leading centres such as the Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris and the Azienda Ospedaliera San Giovanni–Addolorata in Rome.
He has held senior positions at the San Giovanni–Addolorata Hospital in Rome and has been involved in high-specialisation training in minimally invasive thoracic and abdominal surgery. He is co-author of the original scientific publication on miSAR® and contributes to national and international training courses.
